I recently visited Guesto Kerala Restaurant in Madinah and had a delightful experience. We tried their fish pepper and wheat porotta, both of which were incredibly delicious. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, especially for anyone craving true Kerala cuisine. Their tea was also excellent — a perfect finish to a satisfying meal. The restaurant itself is well-maintained with a clean and pleasant ambiance. They offer a wide variety of South Indian dishes, making it a great spot for those who love Kerala-style food. It’s located a little away from Masjid Al-Haram, but still within walking distance — around 15 to 20 minutes. If you’re in Madinah and looking for a good South Indian meal, Guesto Kerala Restaurant is definitely worth the walk. Highly recommended!

The waiters mentioned that they offer special dishes daily alongside an extensive menu of flavorful options. Once the order was placed, the food arrived fairly quickly, which was impressive given the crowd. Food Quality: Tapioca with Fish Chilly Curry: This Kerala traditional combination was absolutely top-notch, delivering authentic flavors that reminded us of home. Rice Dishes & Side Dishes: My companions ordered a variety of rice-based dishes and sides, and every item stood out in taste and quality. The flavors were rich and authentic—truly incomparable. Tea: The tea was also remarkable, serving as the perfect end to a hearty meal. Pricing: The prices were reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. Areas for Improvement: The only issue we encountered was that the food wasn’t served hot initially.
